Hi, I'm Akanksha — a Nutritionist and Women's Fitness Coach specialising in Postpartum Recovery, Diastasis Recti Correction, PCOS Management, and Sustainable Fat Loss. But before I became a coach, I was a mother trying to find my way back to myself.

After delivering my twins, I was diagnosed with a 4-finger Diastasis Recti. My body didn't feel like my own anymore. I struggled with constant back pain, a weak core, sleepless nights, anxiety, and exhaustion. Everyone told me, "This is normal after having a baby." But deep down, I knew surviving wasn't the same as recovering.

So I started learning. I immersed myself in evidence-based nutrition, postpartum rehabilitation, and core recovery — and discovered something heartbreaking: most women are never taught how to heal after pregnancy. They're expected to bounce back and lose weight without first rebuilding the body that carried a baby.

Today, my mission is to make sure no woman has to navigate postpartum recovery alone. What is Diastasis Recti, and how do I know if I have it?

Diastasis Recti is the separation of the abdominal muscles that commonly occurs during pregnancy. It can lead to a tummy bulge, core weakness, lower back pain, poor posture, and pelvic floor issues. During your consultation, I'll help assess your symptoms and determine whether this programme is right for you.

When can I start after a normal delivery or a C-section?

You can usually begin a structured postpartum recovery programme after your 6–8 week postnatal check-up, once you've been cleared by your obstetrician or gynaecologist. If you're several months or even years postpartum, it's not too late — many women successfully improve their core strength and Diastasis Recti long after childbirth.

Is the programme safe while breastfeeding?

Yes. The programme is designed to support breastfeeding mothers with safe, progressive workouts and personalised nutrition that prioritises healing, energy, and milk supply while promoting sustainable fat loss.

What does 'no coning or doming' mean?

Coning or doming is when the abdomen bulges outward during certain movements, which may indicate excessive pressure through the abdominal wall. My workouts are specifically designed to minimise this pressure and help rebuild your core safely.

Do I need gym equipment, or can I work out from home?

You can complete the programme from the comfort of your home. Most workouts require little to no equipment, and if any equipment is recommended, I'll guide you on simple, affordable options.

Do you provide personalised diet plans?

Yes. Every nutrition plan is customised based on your goals, lifestyle, food preferences, medical history, and dietary requirements. I offer Indian vegetarian, Jain, eggetarian, and non-vegetarian meal plans that are practical, sustainable, and family-friendly.

Can I join if I have PCOS, thyroid issues, or other health concerns?

Yes. I regularly work with women managing PCOS, thyroid disorders, insulin resistance, and postpartum recovery. Your programme will be personalised to your health needs. If you have a medical condition, I recommend continuing to work with your doctor while we support your nutrition and fitness journey.

How long will it take to see results?

Every woman's journey is unique, but with consistent effort, many clients begin noticing improvements in core strength, energy, posture, and confidence within the first few weeks.
